Project Flight is an initiative that focuses on returning birds to the sky. The Alabama Wildlife Center’s mission is to provide rehabilitative care for our state’s birds and to educate people on native wildlife. Alabama is one of the most biodiverse states in the country with over 60 types of terrestrial ecosystems, including forests, wetlands, and prairies. While every bird may have different needs, and habitats, one thing they do have in common is the sky.
